We started creating podcasts with customers recently. Before we started, I had no idea how to create them. But I of course wanted to keep it simple, and hopefully do it for not much money. I figured if I had a mic and speakerphone, I could get by with capturing the audio. But I assumed I would need some fancy – and expensive – recording software to record the conversations and turn them into files. I was right about the mic and speakerphone – but very wrong about the software. In a matter of minutes, I found and downloaded Audacity for free. Then I bought a $29.99 microphone. And we were in the podcast business! Here’s a quick video of how easy it is to create them….
